SPROG CAMP YEARS - 1997 to 2006
Every August bank holiday weekend, five dads took their kids camping in the New Forest for a long weekend of fun and games.
In memory of Mike Phillips 1950 - 2012

SPROG CAMP 2005

The Theme for this year was SPROGLYMPICS (with a musical twist)

There were two teams:
Team ROCKING HEADBANGERS: Nine Chins, Lord Cameron, Becky, Ollie, James & Laura
Team FUNKY STRUTTERS: Old Git, Fester, Badger, Matt, Mark, Joanne, Chloe.

We had Teeshirts and and Basball caps
The FLAG was designed entirely by CHLOE.
Games for SPROGLYMPICS included: Space Hopper Challenge; Dodge Ball; Creepy Crawly; Apple Bobbin; Pin the tail on the donkey; Kickball Rounders.

In the evening we had "Songs Around the Camp Fire", Pete played the guitar and we had special songbooks, James confirmed his pyromaniac tendancies with the BBQ

For the first time ever we went on a "day trip to Bournemouth", we got the train, the kids had a special team challenge, £10 to buy as many things as possible in 1 1/2 hrs.

We then went to the BEACH and had lots of FUN.
In the evening we played "Apple Bobbin" and held a "Silly Hat" contest.
The Dads held a "Who can bring the best bottle of Red Wine" contest, (obviously the had to drink it all in order to judge it)
Mike won with a craking bottle of 'Chateauneuf du pap'

We played games in the field before having having fun in the PUB Garden.
We then held a Giant WATER SLIDE competition.
In the evening we played Pub Games like BAR SKITTLES and SHOVE HA'PENNY.
