Sadly Mike Suffered a major stroke in 2006 and thought he would never get to camp again.
After much gentle persuasion and support from the other Belly Daddies Mike bravely agreed to attend what turned out to be the last ever SPROG CAMP.
We brought a full size single bed for Mike.
Robbie assumed the role of Camp Chef (Mike was executive chef), in a full kitchen with 6 cooking rings.
There was no special theme this year but we had some fun with the TEE's curtesy of LITTLE BRITAIN
The camp grew even larger with the adition of another kids tent.
We played games in the field, including Space Hoppers, Balls in Boxes, Rounders, Dodge Ball.
We went on a DAY TRIP tp Bournemouth by train and held a SandCastle Competition on the beach.
We sung songs around the camp fire and played pub games, Bar Skilltes and Shove Ha'Penny, we aso played a PUB QUIZ.
The Dads organised themselves a "World Wines" competition, with each dad bringing 3 bottles of Red wine, each from a different country, that meant 15 countries (and 15 bottles !!!!!, hic)
We held a MEGGA WATER BATTLE, this time kids hid in the forest and Dads had to find them. We took 150 pre-filled WATER BOMBS with us and lots of huge water guns.
We also took the giant WATER SLIDE for slippery fun.
